From Myth to Market:
In Greek mythology, GAEA (or GAIA) symbolizes the essence of the Earth — the nurturing mother of all life and creation.
Founded in 2019 by two Dutch entrepreneurs, GAEA began with a mission to source and supply fresh agricultural products from Vietnam.
Our journey started with green coffee beans, later expanding to include fruits, vegetables, and other fresh produce as part of our growing supply network. Over time, GAEA evolved into roasted coffee production, serving the professional hospitality sector with traditional Dutch slow-roasting and blending techniques under our Pelican Coffee, Butler, and GAEA brands.
Though modest in origin, GAEA is impactful — much like the goddess herself. Deeply connected to the Earth, our founders, both from the hospitality industry, proudly serve the hospitality and retail sectors across Vietnam and Cambodia.
- Today, GAEA continues to provide green bean export and trade services, specializing in Robusta and Arabica sourced from Vietnam. We also import select premium beans from Colombia, Ethiopia, and Brazil for our signature blends.
- In addition, we supply the hospitality industry with coffee products, contract solutions, and related services, supported by our in-house expertise and partnerships in coffee and bar equipment.

Our coffee portfolio is crafted for professional use, with blends and formats ideal for restaurants, banquets, and buffets. The assortment continues to grow, now including a curated selection of teas — both imported and locally produced — to complement our coffee offerings.
At GAEA, we prioritize sourcing and producing as much as possible within Vietnam, supporting local farmers, producers, and the “Made in Vietnam” initiative. This approach not only strengthens community development but also promotes authentic, locally made quality products.
In some cases, we extend our expertise to provide branding and marketing support for local producers and brands, helping them enter and thrive in the professional hospitality market through GAEA’s extensive network.
