A Weekend of Vintage Finds, Creative Energy and Over 1,000 Cups of Pelican Coffee – GAEA Joins the Saigon Vintage Market in Thảo Điền
GAEA also provides catering and booth services for small and niche events. The Thảo Điền Vintage Market is one example where we created a simple, specialty service booth and introduced Pelican Coffee to the public for the first time. The booth was a compact, premium wooden setup designed for easy mobility. We equipped it with a modern espresso machine and applied specialty coffee techniques to enhance the overall quality of the beverages served, with a strong focus on flavour and craftsmanship.
The Saigon Vintage Market in Thảo Điền is a flea-style weekend market where visitors can browse second-hand, retro and vintage clothing, accessories, home décor, artisan items and more – a real “treasure hunt” for unique pieces.
What you can find at the market
- Vintage & retro fashion: old-school T-shirts, denim, dresses, retro jackets.
- Home décor & artisan products: vintage-themed decorative items and small furniture.
- Food, beverages & social atmosphere: the market combines shopping with food stalls, drinks, music and a relaxed weekend vibe. This was also the first time Pelican Coffee was introduced directly to consumers (normally Pelican Coffee is available for HORECA only).

During the market, we introduced five Pelican coffee blends and our home-use drip bag trial box. We served more than 1,000 coffees and sold a significant number of 250 g and 500 g coffee pouches. These products are still available and can be ordered via our website or through our social media channels.
